This document describes the steps required to configure an 8MS customer for the ROC feature.
The 8MS customer must have a Somos login with ROC permission. If you already such a login, you may use that login. If your login does not have ROC permission, you may have ROC permission added to that login. However, we strongly recommend that you do not use that login and instead create a new login that is dedicated to use within 8MS.
By convention we recommend that you use your '01' Resp Org followed by 'ROC'. For example

From the 8MS User Interface, under the System Admin menu, go to the ROC Admin screen.
Enter the SMS/800 user id and password next to the appropriate Entity and select the Update button. Your login and encrypted password will be saved. To verify that your login and password are valid and activated at Somos, click the Verify All Saved Credentials button at the bottom of the screen. This will send a ROC message to Somos. If the login is not activated or the password is incorrect, an error message will be displayed.
